Creating an Engaging and Valuable Workforce

Are you excited about getting up for work in the morning, and are you passionate about what you do, or have you “checked out”?

“We spend 33 per cent of our life at work – that’s 90,000 hours. Yet 87 per cent of the world’s workforce are either not engaged or actively disengaged.” Richard Branson View Article

Why are so many people disengaged?

  • Maybe it is due to the fact that many people do not have the qualifications and settle for any job in order to make a living.
  • Some people may have the qualifications; however there are few or no job opportunities available – something many graduates are now facing.
  • Or maybe they are like myself; having started out in a career that I was passionate about, only to later find the role had changed and so had my interest and excitement.
  • Others are “stuck” – reliant on their income, not exploring other opportunities for fear of change.
  • In some cases, people choose careers based on monetary value and not passion, only to find themselves unhappy and frustrated.
  • And lastly, many people change careers several times throughout their life, as they try to find their ultimate passion.
     ...........Which one are you?

How do we go about changing these lose/lose situations to a win/win solution?

Companies need to look at the possibilities of their staff, assess their needs, and help them become engaged so they can achieve the right productivity, representation and value for the company.

Happy employees who enjoy their work, and who are stimulated and supported; will not only be valuable staff members, but will remain your number one referral base, as they will naturally promote the organisation for you.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a job that feels more like a hobby than work; is exciting, challenging and engaging? I have personally found that when I am doing something that I am passionate about, it makes me feel this way, and that's why I want to let you know about Mentors Insync, so you too can feel inspired.

About Mentors Insync

Mentors Insync is mentoring with a difference.

An initiative based on sharing knowledge and experiences.

The Mentors Insync platform is a space where individuals can demonstrate their passion and skills, develop their knowledge and potential; allowing others to see who they truly are and what they are capable of. It allows professionals to be guided by other professionals and individuals to gain important understanding from those with experience. It provides a unique way for people to network, learn and collaborate with the ultimate goal of personal success.

Mentors Insync instils a supportive learning culture, creates interpersonal links between individuals, improves networks and relationships, and encourages diversity, innovation and creativity.

We see “mentors” as experienced guides, teachers and individuals who want to help others, build relationships, develop networks, as well as give back to society.

Mentors Insync is the first social network mentoring platform of its kind. It is an intelligent cloud-based software as a service platform that connects mentors and mentees. It has been designed to cater for Corporates, Universities and the General Public. The University and Corporate platforms are closed, allowing for mentoring to take place across the entire organisation / university.

Mentors Insync has incorporated a Corporate Social Responsibility element; whereby we encourage Corporates, Universities and other Organisations to provide some mentoring time on the FREE Public platform. We believe this not only ensures that everyone has the opportunity to better themselves; but it builds trust and credibility and develops connections; where the possibilities become infinite.

Mentors Insync is the site that encourages people to develop skills, realise their dreams with the ultimate goal of changing lives. Our goal is to connect as many people as possible locally and around the world - providing them with endless opportunities.

“When someone is passionate about what they do - they succeed; but having someone with experience guide them - they can only excel.”

     How Mentors Insync Benefits You!

     For Universities it means:
  • Better staff, student and alumni engagement.
  • The development of networks and employment opportunities.
  • Cohesive knowledge sharing and collaboration across all departments.
  • People with the right skill set can be sourced and used more effectively.
  • The University Alumni remain engaged by contributing through the mentoring process; which they consider a major objective. They also add value to student employment.
  • Better use of funding and lower costs for students, as mentoring leads to better decisions about course choices .

For Companies, mentoring across the closed platform has the potential to:
  • Increase staff engagement, moral, passion and purpose for all staff members.
  • Improves staff retention, by helping staff to feel valued and supported, enabling them to move across the organisation as they find their passion, without the need to leave.
  • The sharing of knowledge and experiences cultivates creativity and innovation.
  • Hidden talent and resources can be identified, ensuring the better use of their skills, all from within an organisation.
  • Shared knowledge and experiences improves and increases organisational intellectual property.
  • Real work-life balance can be achieved as you are able to connect from anywhere on any device.

For the Free Public Platform it means the following:
  • Everyone has the chance to find their passion, be engaged, network and explore opportunities.
  • Corporates and Universities can be socially responsible by “giving back” to society, as they share their industry knowledge and experiences.
  • Everyone wins, as people have the chance to explore their passions without having to leave their jobs; organisations and universities have the opportunity to build their credibility with a wider audience; networking opens doors for employment, and global opportunities become possible.
  • The sharing of knowledge and experiences develops skills, innovation and creativity as well as excitement, enthusiasm and overall satisfaction and success.

Mentors Insync is dedicated to making a difference by:
  • transforming the way we share knowledge, skills and experiences;
